-experiment After reading Irresistible Revolution (Shane Claiborne) and reading about a lady who has lived without money for 15 years, James Lock has decided to start the _experiment. He is trying to reduce the power of money in his life and live with greater interdependency. To start the ball rolling James has set up a website http://experiment.james-lock.co.uk and is offering services that you can trade with him for rather then making an offer of money. His prominent skill set is design, however other services have been suggested on the website and he is open to offers. Check out the website and make him an offer! “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Have you time to spare? Clay Cross Parish Council are looking for volunteers to help with serving food and general kitchen duties for their weekly OAP Lunch Club. They need volunteers who are available from 12:30 until 2:30 on Tuesdays. If you can spare a bit of time and volunteer, please contact Dawn on 862812 or Shelagh on 861406. Gardening Bert is currently working on the grounds every Tuesday morning and has done a fantastic job of clearing and making everything tidy.
